What is Ethereum?
Ethereum is a blockchain platform for software applications with a native cryptocurrency. It was launched in 2015 after hosting an ICO in 2014, and its intended user is both people in need of a digital asset and development in the of a platform with the usability as Ethereum offers. The basic understanding of Ethereum is that it is a system consisting of smart contracts allowing for the development of a 2.0 blockchain.
